The future of PhotoGenesis looks sharp and on a path to success.
So I have finally submitted my game to my University.
From what I initially proposed to what I actually delivered was quite the journey and to be honest I am really beyond proud of myself. Having said that PhotoGenesis is far from finished, it has just begun.
I have planned to work on this game for the coming years to hopefully release this game to a state where I am happy to sell it.
The current state of the game is playable and all the camera mechanics are working as desired, currently the game has two levels; one story level which is the Cafe and other other level a Tutorial. At the moment the game is a bit lacking in content for the user to fully enjoy all the features. This is because there is only one level currently, so the user currently doesn't understand fully what the story/purpose of the game fully is.
Current State:
Tutorial Level works but audio and trigger events needs to be refined.
Cafe Story Level 1 works with no game breaking/noticeable bugs.
Camera & Gallery full working.
Echo rigged but not fully animated.
80% of the models are created by me
To Do:
Work on the PhotoGenesis story further.
Create a minimum 6 levels within the next 9 months, polished and with minimal bugs.
Refine the camera as much as possible.
Refine all models, including Echo.
Create my character models which are rigged and animated.
Proper Voice Acting and Music
My own material node creation
Far future:
VR integration
Co op elements
Low end PC optimisation
